On behalf of myself and The Brown Queens' Constitution team, we would like to thank every one who has visited the blog, liked a Facebook post, or even gave our posts a glance. We're more than thankful for you. The Brown Queens' Constitution is an ongoing celebration of women of African Heritage and our culture. It's a celebration that every gender creed and color is invited to join every day of the BQC week. The BQC is for all tints shades and dynamics of the brown girl. It's the extraordinary things you do on a daily basis the make you Queen worthy. We celebrate your majesty, Brown Queens, because you are everyday royalty. BQC Update: FALL 2012
Season's greetings, Queens and all other BQC viewers! As founder of The Brown Queens' Constitution, I want to express my gratitude for you, especially those of you who continuously support The BQC! We appreciate everything!! Be on the look out for new features on the blog. We're going to amp things up a little bit, starting with a new team. You've probably seen D'LeAnn on a few FASHION FRENZY FRIDAYS already. We've now grown into a team of a whopping three members(yes 3) with our new addition to the BQC team, Magan. I'm elated to have her be a part of my vision. She's now the featured blogger for THOUGHTFUL THURSDAYS and SOUL SEARCH SUNDAYS. Although I haven't known Magan for a long period of time, I was immediately taken back by her wisdom and amazingly kind spirit. I'm sure you'll enjoy her. Between Magan's gentle spirit and my sister-girl advice you're in for a treat on Thursdays and Sundays. Queens, be sure to welcome Brown Queen, Magan (to the right). Introducing New BQC blogger for FFF: D'LeAnn
Hello, Brown Queens and all other BQC viewers!! I am so pleased to announce that D'LeAnn is joining the Brown Queens' Constitution team as blogger for FASHION FRENZY FRIDAY here on The BQC!! I've known Dee for such a long time and I recognize her great talent and creativity. Not only is her eye for style amazing but her support of The Brown Queens' Constitution has been unwavering since the beginning! She's a true friend of mine and I couldn't be happier to have her join me on this journey as we watch The Brown Queens' Constitution go above and beyond expectations! Let's take this thing far! Hey, Brown Queens!! I am so excited to introduce the official BQC logo to the world! If you see any of these designs, you'll know The Brown Queens' Constitution was there. These designs were done by graphic designer and member of the BQC, Kimberly Hulbet, CEO and founder of Hulbert Media Design. She's a gorgeous Brown Queen who's talent stands all on it's on. Go BQC!! It's ya Birthday!! Let's have a launch date!!
Greetings to you all!! I'm so happy you are visiting the blog on this very special day! It's the launch date here on The BQC and I've been anticipating this day for a while. Now! Let's get acquainted. First start by watching the vlog series entitled "Journey To The Blog". Then take a look around the blog. I'll answer any questions you have. Please feel free to talk to me. That's why the blog is here. I am new to writing and blogging so this will definitely be a journey. However, I have a lot of great plans for this blog so I hope you will come along for the ride as we watch The BQC grow. The blog is bi-weekly and I am taking on this whole thing myself.
