The 2012 remake of Sparkle featuring Jordin Sparks and the great Whitney Houston is coming to theaters Friday, August 17th. The original Sparkle film captures the dream of three sisters who want to become the next big Motown superstar girl group. The Supremes were the ultimate Motown girl group and served as the model for all soul girl groups. They embodied grace and femininity as Brown Queens do so well. The Supremes style and story are both fabricated in the movie musicals Dreamgirls and Sparkle. Both of which produced some phenomenal music and are featured on their soundtracks.
